The biannual EAG STOX Technical Arrangement (TA) Coordination Board (CB) convened on 8 Feb 2023 at EAG / RAF High Wycombe. The meeting was attended by representatives from Belgium, Spain, Great Britain, France, Italy, Netherlands and Sweden.
The purpose of this CB is to supervise all “Survive to Operate and Force Protection (STOX) TA” objectives: Promote and facilitate training & exercise, personnel & information exchanges. Increase the EAG nations’ capability to defend and protect themselves in both the conventional and nuclear, biological and chemical environment. Discuss & analyse Force Protection (FP) capability shortfalls, propose ways forward to their solution, develop & agree on further FP projects, plan & execute an annual VOLCANEX FP exercise, plan & execute annual FP Seminar and develop, compile & distribute the annual FP Training Masterplan. The meeting was a great success with fruitful discussions and in the end mutual agreement on how to proceed on several topics.
