The Forward Armed Refuelling Point (FARP) Force Integration Training (FIT) Syllabus stems from the Fuel Technical Agreement and provides the opportunity to train crews from different countries to operate the equipment necessary to set up and run a FARP point. This procedure becomes crucial to extend the range of rotary wing airframes, especially during personnel recovery operations. After the forced pause Covid imposed, the European Air Group Staff joined the European Defence Agency (EDA) in its exercise series “Fire Blade” at Papa Air Base, Hungary on the 8th and 9th of June, 2022 and provided the participants with the tools to perform the FARP FIT. The training was well received and has opened new opportunities to interact with other multinational agencies.
