Log and maintenance syndicate
The second 2024 ETIP Forum meeting of the four nations participating in the project (ESP, ITA, GBR, and DEU) was held from November 11th to 14th to address the different areas of work within its three usual pillars (OPS, LOG, and FS). This time, it was held at Gando Air Base (Gran Canaria, Spain) to take advantage of the opportunity to present the project and involve the 46th Wing of the Spanish Air and Space Force, which will soon be converted into a Eurofighter unit.
Blessed with exceptional weather, the three days of work were fruitful and successful, filled with content of utmost importance to advance towards the total interoperability of the four nations in all the different areas. The information shared and the development of new documents, such as the X-country checklist and the Mandatory Briefing Items list, have ensured the continuity of the permanent advances that the nations achieve thanks to this forum.
This was the first time ever in this forum for the SPAF 46th Wing, based in Gando, which will be converted into a Eurofighter unit from mid-2025 onwards.
