๐ GAF HQ, Berlin

3 – 5 June 2025
The EAG Eurofighter Typhoon Interoperability Project (ETIP) team met at the historic German Air Force HQ in Berlin, a location steeped in history as the former site of RAF Gatow during the Cold War.
Representatives from ๐ฉ๐ช Germany, ๐ฎ๐น Italy, ๐ช๐ธ Spain and ๐ฌ๐ง the UK came together to deepen cooperation across Operations, Logistics, and Flight Safety.
Key outcomes included:
๐น A coordinated approach to deploying to Exercise Pitch Black 26
๐น Further development of cross-servicing capability
๐น Refinement of the cross-servicing checklist
๐น Greater focus on landaway visits to strengthen interoperability
๐น A focused discussion on the evolving role of AI in air safety
It was a productive and collaborative few days capped off by a fiercely competitive game of mini-golfโฆ where weโre proud to report that the EAG team claimed victory. Clearly, interoperability and putting under pressure are in our DNA. ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ
