The aim of this Committee Meeting is “to enhance interoperability in the Fuel area among the Participants, in order to facilitate and improve cross-training activities and thus provide a stronger support to multi-national deployed operations”.
Between the 28 and 30 of March, the biannual EAG FUEL Technical Arrangement Committee Meeting took place. On this occasion, the event was hosted by the Royal Air Force (RAF) Tactical Support Wing (TSW), at MoD Stafford. The meeting was attended by representatives from Germany, Great Britain and The Netherlands, and also by representatives from World Fuel Services Government Solutions and the RAF No 1 Expeditionary Logistics Squadron.
In addition to the meeting itself, an interactive workshop was held, in which TSW demonstrated its fuel deployment capabilities. The event was also attended by guest speakers from World Fuel Services Government Solutions, the British Army Royal Engineers (STRE) and a member of the RAF Trials Team for the 1st 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuel Voyager flight; which provided an important added value to the event. The meeting was a great success, with very fruitful discussions from which important opportunities for cooperation and training arose.
