Eighteen F-35 Users from all over the world joined the U.S. Air Force Global F-35 Users Group Working Group (UGWG) conference that was held for the second time at the Lockheed Martin facility at Fort Worth, TX, March 19 – 21, 2024.
The Users are part of the F-35 UGWG which is a formal and regular venue aimed at integrating F-35 capabilities, identifying shared challenges, and disseminating enterprise-wide solutions.
Continuing to advance the users common tactical interoperability goals when operating F-35s together in theatre, the European Air Group (EAG) leads in close cooperation with USAFE through projects such as F-35 Technicians Interoperability and F-35 Cross-Weapons Loading. The valuable lessons learned of the previous and upcoming EAG workshops and meetings were presented at this global event. Both EAG projects contribute directly to the F-35 Allied Air Chiefs priorities for Cross-Servicing and aligns closely to the Agile Combat Employment philosophy.
